New Book Release: River of Silence by Adelina Leo
I’m proud to share a deeply personal and powerful project that has just been released into the world—my new book, River of Silence, now available on Amazon.
Written under my pen name Adelina Leo, this book is the story of Isabel Hartley, a lawyer who is haunted by her mother’s disappearance during the dictatorship in Argentina in the 1970’s. Determined to find her, Isabel quits her job in London and goes to Buenos Aires to search for her mother with the help of a handsome local detective who is recently widowed and has his own demons to face. Their search reveals little but their flourishing feelings towards each other. Amongst the economic and political chaos of the city in the early 2000’s, they learn to love again as a heartbreaking discovery brings Isabel face to face with childhood trauma, her identity and family secrets.
